Who I Help

You're in the right place if...

01

Your child has big feelings that are taking over.

Meltdowns, shutdowns, explosive moments, the behavior that teachers keep calling about. You love your kid and you're running out of ideas. There's a reason this is hard. And there's a path through.

02

You're a parent who's running on empty.

You've tried everything. You've stayed calm (mostly). You've read the parenting books and listened to the podcasts. You're doing so much, and it still isn't enough. You need more than tips. You need support.

03

You're pregnant or newly postpartum and overwhelmed.

Everyone has an opinion. Your feed contradicts your OB. Your mom contradicts your feed. You're anxious, exhausted, and you just want someone to help you figure out what actually feels right for you.

A Little About Me

Warm, direct, and never one-size-fits-all.

I'm a therapist, a mom, and someone who spent years in schools before I ever sat in a private practice office.

I was a school counselor and director of student support for seven years. I've worked with kids across every ability level and background. Kids who struggled to sit still, kids who struggled to speak up, kids who everyone else had given up on. I also spent years working with college student-athletes, helping young people navigate the pressure and identity shifts that come with big transitions.

Now I'm in private practice, in a season of life that has deepened everything I do. Being a mom has made me a better therapist, and it's made me deeply passionate about supporting other parents and mothers who are in the thick of it.

I bring real experience to this work, not just credentials, though I have those too. I bring genuine understanding of what it's like when your child is struggling, when you're struggling, and when everything feels heavier than it should.

Services

What we'll work on together

Child & Teen Therapy

For kids ages 4 and up who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, big emotions, behavioral challenges, learning differences, autism and developmental differences, low self-esteem, or the general turbulence of growing up. I use play therapy, CBT, DBT skills, and strength-based approaches to help kids feel understood and build real skills.

Parent Support & Coaching

For parents raising kids with complex needs, challenging behaviors, ADHD, anxiety, or special needs diagnoses, who need more than a parenting book. We'll work on connection, real strategies, and helping you feel like a human being again, not just a crisis manager.

Perinatal Mental Health

For women during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Anxiety, identity shifts, relationship changes, and the impossible noise of the internet. We'll sort through it together and help you find your footing in this new chapter.

I'm a cash-pay practice. Sessions are $100. I can provide a superbill if you'd like to submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. I'm also happy to talk through what's workable for your situation.

Yes. I see children, teens, and adults in person at my office in Chattanooga (Bridges, LLC, 5726 Marlin Road, Suite 315). I also offer virtual sessions to anyone in Tennessee.

I see children starting around age 4 through adults. I especially love working with kids and tweens, parents, and women in the perinatal period.

That's exactly what the free consultation is for. Let's talk and see.
